Oh Canada!


Oh Canada! I stopped by my MP's office yesterday and picked up a handful of Canadian flag lapel pins to hand out while we're in China. I also have to stop by my MLA's office for some provincial pins. Does anyone know the mandarin word for province?

Great idea...i just read on a blog last evening,of a couple that just returned from China,they said that folks in china love these!!!

These were a huge hit! We also brought 2 bag of suckers, and Canada Maple leaf tattoos. I thought we had way way too much, but we had nothing left when we came home! We made a point of always having some "treats" in our pockets whenever we went out.
I got some great pictures this way and also great conversations with people.

GREAT idea! We took pins, canada pens ( I passed them out to staff at the hotels).. We also took some canada flags and lots and lots of suckers...the kids loved those:).

As for the Chinese word for Province, I can't help you there
