Hooray for Kate

Our last weekend of just the 2 of us is almost done. We watched the news tonight and it looks like we may get a whopper of a snowstorm tomorrow afternoon and thru the night into Tuesday. Lets hope it finishes early Tuesday so they can clean up the airline mess and we can get out of here on time.

Thanks to JandJ for organizing and hosting the get-together last night and the "gift" today. We sure appreciate your efforts and your friendship. And thanks to Jennifer's mother Judy for taking the whole family out for brunch this morning. It was nice to have the most of the family together one last time before we leave.

The packing has begun. As you see, everything is scattered all over the place.

Alot of the softer stuff doesn't weigh alot, but takes alot of room. By putting it in Ziplock bags and squishing the air out of them, we're able to fit alot more in the suitcases.

Here I am with a 1 ft x 1 ft board pressed down on the Ziplock bag. And here's the end result. Much smaller. Yep, 3 stuffed animals that are now an inch thick. It seems to work.
That's it for now. Back to the packing.
