Chirstmas in China

Here are some shots of Christmas decorations that we've seen in China. The major stores are all playign Christmas music... all the same music we'd hear at home, just sung with a Chinese accent. Very weird seeing as 90% of the people would have no clue what they are saying.

At a shop on the way to the Trust Mart
Just outside of the elevators on the main floor of the hotel in Chongqing

On the front desk of the hotel. He seems to have moved from one side of the long counter to the other side since we got here.
Inside of the elevator in the hotel
Somewhere on a sidewalk in Chongqing
Outside of the Civil Affairs office in Chongqing
Yes, he's a gint inflatable Santa Claus

Hello From Toronto!

So happy to be following your journey which has been wonderful every step of the way.

Reading this at work at Ontario Lottery, must have my new work colleagues wondering about me and the tears in my eyes. But they are happy ones, so that's good!

Blessings to you all!

Terry

OHHH, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for the pictures!
We are printing them off!
Everywhere we've looked, it says they don't celebrate Christmas in China, and well, its making for a very boring report! LOL Thanks for adding some excitement (and hopefully marks) to her project!

Love the pictures! Keep them coming!!
Take Care
Sheila
