evening update
Hey Dad or Rob, why not trade in your Harley for one of these? This is built by a motorcycle company here in Chongqing and they are everywhere. They'll sit 3 people. The driver and 2 in the back. Another design has them as a pickup.
Another bath to start the day. Contrary to what this pic may make you think, this went much better than the previous ones. Pregress!

Kate holding herself up while Daddy does immigration paperwork. Today was Canada immigration paperwork and doctor forms to fill out in advance of Sunday's appointment. 
After the paperwork, we then headed out and explored around the area. We stumbled across a Walmart but didn't see any great deals. The Walmart was at a busy downtown intersection and on our way back, we just couldnt get the rhythm of the traffic (I'm not quite as dariing with a child hanging off of me) so 2 old guys noticed we were having issues and motioned that they'd help us so they helped us across the street. At home, we help the old people across the street. Here' the old ones help us across the street.Kate all bundled up from the clothing police and enjoying her ride in the Snuggly. Her hat is way to vig and it keeps falling over her eyes which draws extra attention to us from the locals.
We were looking for the McDonalds (sorry Jason... I just had to go) and we couldnt find it, so we asked the "crossing guard" people who pointed down the street then straight down to the ground... ground I got... down I didnt. Well at alot of busy spots, instead of crosswalks, they have stairs down and tunnels across the street. Much easier. So, as we crossed underneith the road, we walked into an open air market that was just amazing. Look at the pics. We then hit McDonalds. what can I say... McDonalds is McDonalds. Off to the Trustmart for last minute supplies then back to the hotel.

Now that the neighbors kid is out of the hospital and has a clean bill of health, we all gathered for a group meal as this is also our last night here in Chongqing. We're now back in the room finishing our packing.
Posting this entry has been painfully slow tonight. Over an hour to upload all the pics and alot have gone missing and video? No way. Not tonight.. I take back anything I said about a fast internet connection in China! Sheesh!
We're a little sad to leave Kate's birth area, but we're looking forward to getting home. We tried to take in as much as we could, but this areas really needs more than a week to even scratch the surface.

can't post much...lisa on my lap...can't believe the week is up. Sounds like you took a lot in. Beijing is more fun though so enjoy week 2.

All the photos are great,i have been working the last three days and let me tell you the SJRH ER staff are all over joyed for you guys and wait until they see all these new photos.....not sure how they will survive my 5 days off.....lol(everyone thinks Kate is a beauty).

Love all the new pictures!! They even took a long time to download on my computer but keep them coming. I love to read all your updates. I hope that you all are feeling better.

I love the picture with the pink dress! Looks like she's in the high chair, and still calm so I guess things are settling...have a good time in Beijing...I'm sure you are starting to be ready to come home!
