We are back in Beijing
What a long day. We left the fog of Chongqing and arrived in a blindingly sunny day in Beijing. The sky is clear and after spending a week in the fog in Chongqing, we're all squinting a bit now.
The amenities in the Chongqing hotel were nicer (6 bottles of water compared to 2 here, a nice crib in Chongqing, a bath tub for Kate in Chongqing) but the room is the double the size here in Beijing so we can play with Kate on the floor.
Kate did awesome on the flight. Not an issue at all. Luckily, there was nobody in the 3rd seat on our side so we were able to use the middle seat as a buffer seat. Only one kid fussed and that was only on he arrival. Once we hit terra firma, she was fine.
Ma-rie the guide is gathering paperwork tonight then we are of for a DR appointment tomorrow morning then an acrobatic show later in the afternoon. We're all looking forward to that. Monday and Tuesday will also be busy days and Wednesday is a quiet day before we leave Thursday.

Dianne...you know the answers to that!! That's the same place the Nickerson's and I stayed!! LOL!
Glad you're back in Beijing. The time will go by so quickly now. I loved being back there...almost felt like home. Those huge rooms are great...I do just wish there was a closer source of water! Those six bottles in CQ were pretty handy. We actually packed a couple so we didn't have to run out right away as we got in Beijing around 9 p.m. At the park and save you can get all sorts of North American treats - Ritz Crackers, Lays potato chips and David always bought orangers.
Just a few more days! Enjoy the rest of the trip and take care!!

Glad to hear you are back in Bejing...Next step is home. Good to hear that all was uneventful on the plane. What hotel are you at? We stayed at the one that was in walking distance to Starbucks, McDonlad, the silk alley and I want to say Pizza Hut?? Have a great trip and Kate looks adorable!! I Love the striped tights and dress and the hat is ADORABLE!!!
